Overview

Wire rod is a semi-finished long steel product manufactured by hot rolling billets on continuous rolling mills. It is wound up in coils.

Steel wire rod is used as raw material for the drawing of wire intended for different applications, as well as in the manufacture of mesh, bolts, screws, nuts, nails, welding rod, springs, ropes and concrete reinforcing elements.
